German multinational company introduces innovative solutions in industrial metrology-specific software and equipment
International reference in precision technology and industrial metrology, ZEISS takes part in INTERMACH 2019 – International Trade Show and Conference for Technology, Machinery, Equipment, Automation and Services for the Metal-Mechanical Industry, which takes place from September 17 to 20 at EXPOVILLE, in Joinville – SC. The company introduces innovations in the fields of industrial metrology, focusing on support to the needs of modern industry – increasingly more demanding and focused on productivity, agility and cost reduction.
With its eyes focused on the reality of industry 4.0, the company brings to its stand products from well-renowned lines of optical equipment for 3D surface scanning and 2D metrology with ZEISS COMET, ZEISS T-SCAN, ZEISS PiWeb and ZEISS DURAMAX solutions.
With multi-source data processing capacity, report customization and real-time information distribution through secure internet connection, ZEISS PiWeb is ZEISS’ quality data management platform, which provides an overview of production data enabling managers to make decisions quickly and safely.
In the laser scanner line, the company introduces the portable ZEISS T-SCAN 3D scanner, which features ergonomic design and easy operation, making it possible to scan small or large parts quickly and with no effort to the operator, which is ideal for industrial applications that require agility and large volume scanning of parts.
Now, ZEISS COMET is a portable ultra-optical scanner that makes 3D data capture easy, fast and accurate. Operating through projection of fringe patterns and capture of images with ZEISS lenses, ZEISS COMET is capable of scanning objects at record speed and with high quality in any application.
ZEISS further exhibits ZEISS DURAMAX, ideal plant floor equipment for industry 4.0. With VAST XXT scanning sensor, it captures contours and surfaces freely in environments that can range from +18 to +30°C without losing measurement quality.
ZEISS DURAMAX facilitates daily work not only for its stability, but also for not requiring compressed air, taking up little space and having an integrated passive damping system.
